Children come not from parents

Children come through the medium
Of parents
Parents are like passages through which
The divine creates the child
And sends the child
So the child does not belong to parents
It’s a fresh life
With a new vision idea and goal
So do not try to force your
Silly ideas upon the child
Just provide a nurturing atmosphere
So that child grows into full potential
And becomes a full-fledged life!

Children are not your property
Children are not your insurance
Children are fresh life
Which has come with a fresh destiny
The fresh longing of its own
So try not to influence
Rather imbibe their 
Exuberant style of life!
Imbibe their happiness
Awe striking smiles
Their forgiveness
Their focus
Their non-seriousness
But involvement and intensity
Their life-like play!

Sadhguru says
“When a child enters your life,
It’s time to learn
Not to teach”
Provide a loving atmosphere
Where child emotionally secured
Answer their curiosity
And wonder

Some may think 
They will become dull
If we do not teach them
They won’t
They will figure out for themselves
The ways of life
And life beyond
If we do not provide them
With ready-made answers
And conclusions
Our silly assumptions!

They are intelligent
They are smart
In some field 
They are genius
In some 
They may fail
Let their genius flourish
Let’s not count their failures
Even the moon has a black spot
Even the glorious sunset

Enjoy the child’s presence
In your home
Nurture 
Don’t torture
Just be with them
When they need you
Love them
Make them Self-reliant
Tell them
“You are the most important person
In this world
You can achieve anything
That you put your heart and mind into”
Tell them
“The whole world is one. 
All creatures are inter-connected
All are important
In their own way”
Take them to Nature
Let them play with the soil
Water, plants
Let them be one 
With the basic five elements
Akasha, Air, Fire, Water, Soil
Show them the infinite sky
In the night time and early morning
Answer all their questions
Without irritation
They will find expression
Don’t worry!

Parents on the other hands
Are guardians of our worldly life
They deserve respect and care
Especially in their old age
They help us to rise
From infant to young
So we also care for them
When they can’t!

Leave home
Achieve your dreams
No doubt
About that
But include parents also
In your dreams!
Give them love
Care and affection
They need it 
You balance your equation
By doing that!

Love them totally
So that you’d be free
And they’d be free
All of us have that
Goal of freedom
Ultimately to achieve
Sooner or later!

So parents and children
Just nurture each other
Let each other live
The life they dreamt
Don’t disturb
But be with them
Whenever they need you!
Help each other
To reach the highest
Before it’s too late!
